TS Racing 2013 Winter Racing Series – Last Race

Dear AMP Kart Members and Friends,

I hope the New Year has been good for you.  I apologize for the late notice, but for several reasons we are a little late in confirming our next kart race at AMP.  We will be having the last race in our Winter Racing Series Saturday, February 1st.

We will race on the full track, layout ‘A’ and run our normal full day schedule with practice starting at 9:00 AM.  The GSKA (Barnesville) karters will be joining us with hopefully better weather than we had in December.

Also per popular request we have added a Tag Masters class.  For our February race the TaG Senior and Masters class will run together, but will be scored separately.  As the Masters class grows during the season we will separate the classes if needed.  Following WKA Manufactures Cup rules the Masters class will be required to weigh 20 lbs. more than the Senior class and will be open to any driver who has attained the age of 30 and older or attained the age of 21 for drivers whose minimum weight is 220 lbs. in a driver suit but without a helmet.

See the TS Racing Atlanta website for more info and the entry blank.  Also, please note that we still have the Vega Green tires on sale for $150/set. As we transition over to the Blue Vega tires both the Greens and Blues will be legal for our AMP races for the foreseeable future.

See you at the track!   Jim Fry  For more information

Kart Storage

AMP will offer storage for karts at a monthly rate of $75 per month and a $55 or $25 “racking fee” based on the level of service you desire. This racing service has two levels to offer.

Kart Storage is $75 per month or $800 per year if paid in full.

The pro level concierge service is $55 each time the kart is racked. This service includes one gallon of fuel, the mix oil added to the fuel, chain lubricated, nuts and bolts tightened, cleaning of kart, review for service or parts needed. If service outside of those items are needed, it will be billed at $55 per hour, plus parts. It is the owners responsibility to continually review the karts for issues or nuts and bolts that have worked loose while running. Your Kart will be taken to the track and waiting on your arrival.

Basic level service is $25 each session, un-racking from storage, we take your Kart to the track and it will be waiting on your arrival. No work is done on the Kart.
