Atlanta Motorsports Park will serve as the venue for the 3rd Annual James’s Cruise in for a Cure on Saturday, September 23 at noon. The car show will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night Campaign in honor of James Caporal, a local cancer survivor. In 2013, James was diagnosed with a high risk form of Leukemia called T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. James achieved full remission and took his last chemotherapy on Dec.19,2016. Since his battle, James’s family has become dedicated to raising money to help others fighting the same disease.
This event is open to the public and is free to attend. There is a $10 fee to enter a vehicle in the show, and it costs $1 per vote to pick your favorite car for the Voter’s Choice Trophy. All vehicles will be judged by James for a chance to win the James’s Choice Trophy.
