Kart Championship Series

Round 5 of the AMP Summer Series took place last Saturday in Dawsonville Georgia. Lo206 Cadet and Junior Final:  Olivier Piatek (Junior) started on pole ahead of Spencer Mast (Junior), Braden Heber (Junior), and Joseph Saddington (Cadet). Mast dropped to 13th on the opening lap allowing Piatek to lead the race with a small gap in the opening laps. Luke DaCosta (Junior) gained three positions on the opening lap to take second place.
LO206 Cadet Final: The LO206 Cadet class had provided some of the closest racing all year and the championship came down to the final race of the season. Alyssa Vascocu went into the final round with a slim lead in the standings but if she finished third or worse and Oliver Piatek won she would lose the championship. Vascocu

The fifth round of the AMP Karting Series took place over the weekend as drivers of all ages battled for their spot on the podium.
