Helping Tomorrow’s Racers

Atlanta Motorsports Park is about more than high-speed racing. AMP is a force for good in the Georgia community. Since our founding more than five years ago, we’ve partnered with fundraisers, children’s charities, and other non-profit organizations to give back to those in need and promote positive change for all.

Every time you book an event with Atlanta Motorsports Park, you’re helping us create a special experiences for Atlanta area kids and their families.

The motorsports community is growing quickly in Georgia. More people than ever are finding a new hobby in kart racing or private track memberships and with that, we’re channeling our corporate namesake into positive social change. We are always looking to give back to the very community that has helped us grow. At Atlanta Motorsports Park, we are passionate about our role in helping others and we seek to continue our community-driven business model.

DriveStrong Atlanta

AMP’s flagship cause is DriveStrong Atlanta, our own non-profit driver training program for teenagers where students learn to sharpen their driving skills, refine their handling, and learn how to navigate their vehicle under a wide variety of treacherous road conditions. Young drivers age 15-19 from all backgrounds are given the opportunity to use AMP’s world-class facility for a full day of hands on training they won’t find anywhere else in the Atlanta area.

Rides to Remember

Our facility serves as the venue for Rides to Remember, an annual event where kids and their families get a timeout from cancer treatment to join sports car owners for one unforgettable day on track. Children are paired with drivers and luxury sports cars to hit the racetrack in a Ferrari, Maserati or other exotic vehicle. The event begins at Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta, located in Roswell, Georgia, and then participants caravan to Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville. The event benefits Camp Sunshine, CURE Childhood Cancer and Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities.

KARE for Kids

AMP is also a proud supporter of KARE for Kids, a non-profit right in our own backyard that provides children in Dawson County with the Christmas they deserve. They also provide year-round assistance on a referral basis, assisting with a winter coat, tennis shoes, medical needs or specific items needed for school. In 2018, AMP staff and members collected over 50 coats for KARE during a winter clothing drive!
