Atlanta Motorsports Park is thrilled to announce that it is expanding it’s teen driving program in an effort to reach more young drivers in the metro Atlanta area and beyond. Drive to Thrive Atlanta – provides Atlanta teenagers with a unique opportunity to learn life-saving advanced driving skills from professional instructors.
Using its state of the art training facilities, including a world class skid pad and ice hill, AMP teaches advanced driving maneuvers that are not covered during traditional Drivers Education. Students of the teen program learn vital driving skills for life including wet weather, evasive and defensive handling skills as well as the dangers of distracted driving.
Drive to Thrive has upcoming classes available for students age 15-19 on Nov. 18, Dec. 2 and Dec. 9. AMP and Drive to Thrive are also participating in National Teen Driver Safety Week Oct. 15-21 with a week long campaign to empower Atlanta area families to encourage safe driving.
